"Hellhop" — Halloween 2015.
For Halloween 2015, I was approached by NYC-based actor Kevin Reed who commissioned a custom Halloween makeup. Prompted by some of Kevin's ideas, this design was conceptualized and applied by me.
The horn is made of cardboard segments joined with hot glue, which was then covered in paper maché and painted with acrylics. The horn and the concierge bell were attached to bases made of window mesh (shout out to Rob Benvenides for this idea) and applied directly to Kevin's skin using liquid latex.
The skin was painted with body paint. The jacket was purchased and then sliced, torn, burned, and otherwise dismantled by myself. If you are interested in commissioning your own SFx makeup, please contact me!
